Getting started

Start with a clear user and a manageable goal. Decide what a successful demonstration should show, then build toward that outcome.

If you are improving an existing project, document the starting point before making changes. Keep a concise record of the features, fixes, and other improvements completed during the event.

Keep your GitHub repository organized and provide instructions that help another person understand and run the project. Identify dependencies and external service requirements.

Document AI integrated into the product separately from AI used during development. Explain what each tool or model contributed and how your team reviewed its work.

Test the main workflow with representative inputs and at least one relevant failure condition. Describe known limitations honestly.

Prepare a 2–4 minute demonstration showing the actual project in use. Before submitting, check that your video and repository links work and that every teammate is listed.

Review the five-point judging checklists so your submission contains the evidence judges need.
